Does anyone besides JHD & I watch this?
Now to start the conversation...
What have I missed in the first 2 seasons? I understand that Don has cheated on Betty. Peggy has slept with Pete & had his baby @ one point & gave it up. Now Peggy has slept with Duck...
Oh the drama!

The major thing (and what Bert had over Don) is that Don isn't really Don Draper...

I've gotten that. I've been moonlighting still on TWoP but on the Mad Men boards & I know that his name is really Dick Whitman & that he stole the identity of the real Don Draper after he died. I've read that Don's widow knows this but allows "Don" (Dick) to continue to use his identity.
I'm assuming Betty has no idea about this does she?

She has no clue. Only real Don's wife, Bert, and Pete know.

Don's brother sent a package to work that had childhood pictures and other keepsakes in it, and Pete stole the package off Don's desk and went through it. Pete tried to blackmail Don with it, and Don called his bluff. Pete and Don went to Bert, Pete told Bert, and Bert replied that he didn't care.

Gotcha. That almost doesn't surprise me that Pete would try to blackkmail Don. He seems a bit sneaky. What did you think about him messing around with the German aupair & then seeming regretful when Trudy finally arrived home? I also thought his neighbor the au-pairs employer was going to punch Pete.

Doesn't he know that there are better teams to root for? LOL
Jon Hamm hosted Saturday Night Live last season & they did a spoof of Mad Men w/John Slattery. I'll have to find the link to it & post it. He was pretty funny.
I'd also like to admit that I have a bit of a girl crush on January Jones.

I think he's aware, he's just long suffering like the rest of us.
All of the actors do to some extent, but January Jones looks really different in real life than she does when she's in 60s mode. She was interviewed at a NASCAR race this past week, and until they said her name, I had no idea who she was.

And now that Don is sleeping with Sally's teacher I really do wish Betty had done more than just kiss Henry. In real life this is not something I'd codone but damnit on this show I want Betty to have an affair & Henry seems like the right guy!

Betty looked like she was going to spit nails at that banquet. I really do wish that she'd start an affair with Henry especially now that Don is banging Sally's teacher.
