I'll try reposting when I get home this evening. It was just a nice pic of ASkars (of course). Too bad it didn't work.

It's Tara Blue from the other site. You guys have a cool forum here. Great thread and I'm glad to see interest in this show. Did anyone love the music? I loved everything about it. I have to say that when it was on in the first run, I avoided it. I am a peacenik (though from a military family) and was really fed up with the previous administration and the seemingly endless nature of the war so I just couldn't watch. After the first season of TB, though, one weekend after a particularly hard week I decided I wasn't really going to do much of anything that weekend except veg out in front of the TV, which I rarely do. Surfing through "on demand" I found the entire run of Generation Kill. I thought I'd watch one ep, just to see what it was like and I was instantly hooked. I watched several episodes back to back Saturday and finished the run that Sunday. I thought it was awesome. I loved the characters and was impressed with how the series captured the futility of their mission, their commitment to it despite that. It didn't glorify the war, and it made me care about each and every one of those guys, even the ones who I didn't LIKE (I'm looking at you, Capt. America.) That, to me, is a mark of a really good show. Well, that and how quickly the hour flies by, which it totally did with GK. I loved the music and I loved their singing in the Humvee. I said in that other place that I'd love to see Lafayette and Eric on a road trip to Dallas, but they'd have to sing in the car like they did on GK. I believe someone suggested Teenage Dirtbag in response, which I liked. Other songs for an Eric Lafayette road trip? - Closer by NIN
- The Milkshake Song (I have a metal version of it by Goodnight Nurse that would be appropriate.)
- My Dick by Mickey Avalon
- I Wanna be Sedated by the Ramones
- Wake Me Up Before You Go Go - Wham! Shout out to Zoolander.
- Flesh for Fantasy, or any other song by Billy Idol
- Paradise by the Dashboard Lights - Meatlof
What's on your request list?

Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes Yes! Great song! I haven't heard that one in a long time. I'm not sure if this would fit L/E but it's a personal favorite of mine so I'm going to say "The Joker" by The Steve Miller Band ETA: Anarchy in the UK - The Sex Pistols

That's all you guys have to say about the music stuff? I can invite a person/people to come here that were an integral part of this production for this thread and the main content of your entire website. And no one asks about that? I haven't received any messages from moderators here based on what I can do for your site and members/fans. No welcomes. Nothing.
I guess not. Shootingstar made it seem like this was the place to be. She also seems to be wrong. Good luck with your site. I won't be back.

This isn't the place to get an attitude & act like you're high & mighty. If that's how you are going to be then please don't come back because we don't have the time for it. So thanks again & the exit is to the left.
