Oh they got it on and then Bubba interrupted. But then later Eric had to give her blood and he got his jollies. Both were very hot scenes. You will love Book 4. I also liked the scene where they had to heal the stake wound and Eric is holding her down and helping her through it. They seem to really get each other in a way I hope the show incorporates.
I hope that Season Three will be Book 3 and 4. If the atleast end with Book 4 going into Season 4 I would be a happy camper.
I have no idea why I thought Debbie Pelt was hispanic - was her adopted family Hispanic perhaps?

Yeah I remember Bubba interrupting just as it was getting good. I can't wait to get a hold of book 4 because that scene in 3 was pretty hot.

That's where I've gotten the books I've read so far. I don't have the $$ right now to buy them & I work right near a public library so I put the first 3 on hold & when they became available I went to pick them up. When I return the books I'll see what others they have available & will either get them right then or put the next 3 on hold. I figured why wait until I have the money to buy when I work near a library & can just check them out & read them.

I've got Book 9 on hold in the library, but there are 18 other people ahead of me, so I may not see that book for a while, especially if they are slow readers!
I have the first 8, but they're all paperback. Book 9 is only out in hardcover, and I hate having series where some are paperback and some are hardcover. (I'm incredibly anal that way - I like having things all the same. I think I might be OCD about that.) And paperbacks are less expensive that hardcovers, so I figure I can save up for other stuff - like TB DVDs. =)

I need to get the money to buy CD's because my friend's fiancee said he'd burn TB season 1 for us since they have it. I've seen some other stuff he's bootlegged & it's great quality. I figure I'll just do that than pay $60 on the dvd set.

I feel the same way about he paperback and harcover thing. I know it's a money issue. The Paperback for Book 9 comes out next year I think. Meanwhile CH will make some serious cash from the Hardcover.

I've been re-reading book 3 this weekend & I can't seem to get it...is Lorena Bill's maker in the books? Or did I overlook that in an earlier book? I know that he's held captive by Lorena but I didn't get the sense she was his maker.

It's not in the earlier books. Book 3 is the first time Lorena is mentioned.
I think she is his Maker in the books because he can't refuse going to Mississippi and seeing her. But thinking back, I have the impression she's just one of his exes, and that was enough to call him to Mississippi. So I'm not sure.
I'd need to go back and reread. Which I will as soon as I'm finished with Book 8.

She is his maker. I could have sworn Eric explained it to Sookie. Saying that it's rare for vampire to date and stay with each other as long as Bill and Lorena did. He lived in Seattle with her at one point too.
I'm now forgetting which book explained this. I think maybe Book four??

Definitely not Book 4 - Eric's got other issues to deal with in that book, he's not explaining anything to anyone there. (trying not to spoil it for those who haven't read the book yet.)
