www.people.com/people/article/0,,20313717,00.html He plays a vampire with super strength on True Blood, but Stephen Moyer is just as fragile as the rest of us mortals in real life.
The actor arrived at the taping of the Spike Scream Awards in Los Angeles Saturday night with his fiancé Anna Paquin, 27, walking with a cane due to a torn meniscus he acquired while playing with his kids.
"I'd like to say it as some kind of thrusting, sexy injury," joked the British actor, 40, who picked up the award for best horror actor. "But it really isn't." Moyer has two children from previous relationships.
Despite "feeling great," Moyer said, "[my doctors] told me I wasn't allowed to not use the cane. So I thought if I'm going to have it I may as well use it at the Spike Awards." And it seems he's taken a liking to his accessory. "I might just keep it forever," he said.
The Scream Awards will air Oct. 27 on Spike. **That explains the cane jhd**

Ouch. Poor Stephen. That is a bad injury to have - if he tears it again, that's ACL surgery for him and a big ugly knee brace that they'd have a hard time working into the show.
Spike Awards....I just now got why Alex's award was a sharp pointy object. *rolls eyes* Seemed like an odd thing to give to an actor playing a vampire. Least it's not made of wood or silver. ;D
I'd say I'm a dumbass, but really it's Alex's fault. He makes my brain melt.
